The FC Margi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 17th minute Dito da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Lambert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Dito da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Lambert. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Suikerklontjes's Nils Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito da Cunha in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Dito da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Nils Lambert. Suikerklontjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Dito da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils Lambert came out of the goal and Dito da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erwin-Alexander Weygaerts took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Lambert. Nils Lambert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 45th minute, Gilliam Deckers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dito da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Lambert having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bart Van de Velde made a kick off. Gilliam Deckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nils Lambert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dito da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Lambert having to make a save. 58 minutes into the game, Mike Armentier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Dito da Cunha sped through Suikerklontjes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nils Lambert.
