With 43 minutes on the clock, Cristo Deprez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Westkust a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valentin Mikaelsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elite Red Devils's Ray Van Leemput. 1-2.

The supporters of Elite Red Devils booed when Westkust was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
