The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils Lambert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zinon Potamias went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Zinon Potamias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zabulón Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Van Laer, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nils Lambert was a little too slow when Zinon Potamias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Nils Lambert made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Zinon Potamias sent off a good shot on target. Suikerklontjes's Nils Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Potamias in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Zinon Potamias notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Suikerklontjes's Nils Lambert. Nils Lambert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Zinon Potamias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Lambert. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zinon Potamias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Philipp Van Kestbeek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinon Potamias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nils Lambert came out and tried to block the shot, but Zinon Potamias slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Zinon Potamias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Lambert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Suikerklontjes booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zabal Ubeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Van de Velde in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zinon Potamias was the one to do the kick off. Nils Lambert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinon Potamias in the 55th minute of play. Suikerklontjes's Nils Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goodness Talents in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goodness Talents in the 61st minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Nils Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philipp Van Kestbeek scored 9-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Lambert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Philipp Van Kestbeek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Lambert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Joery Hylen replaced Iwan Marchefka. Goodness Talents sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Lambert came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Angelo Di Maria. But to his dismay, Angelo Di Maria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Nils Lambert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Di Maria in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Zinon Potamias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Nils Lambert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the game, Goodness Talents cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Nils Lambert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Angelo Di Maria came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC Klavertje Vier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Di Maria couldn't finish the play. Zabal Ubeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Lambert having to interfere. There was no doubt that FC Klavertje Vier were the better team. FC Klavertje Vier's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
