When Edward Van Linthout fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suikerklontjes's protests and gave Edward Van Linthout a yellow card for diving instead. Edward Van Linthout hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute, Fabian Eftimescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Van Laer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Johannes Van Laer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Valentin Mikaelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Van Laer. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Mikaelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Albert Fabry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Van Laer. Bryan Bauwens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Valentin Mikaelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Van Laer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Johannes Van Laer came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Westkust's Carel Rokeloos. But to his dismay, Carel Rokeloos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 27th minute, Valentin Mikaelsson made a precise shot to the right of Johannes Van Laer. Suikerklontjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Johannes Van Laer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Fabry in the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Jenaro notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Suikerklontjes's Johannes Van Laer. Johannes Van Laer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Fabian Eftimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Valentin Mikaelsson sped through Suikerklontjes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johannes Van Laer.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Mikaelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carel Rokeloos 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. In the 57th minute, Fred Winnepennincks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suikerklontjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. After 60 minutes of play, Westkust's Albert Fabry made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Van Laer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Fabry took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Van Laer. Johannes Van Laer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. In the 69th minute, one of Westkust:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Westkust. Carel Rokeloos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johannes Van Laer came out and tried to block the shot, but Carel Rokeloos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-12 in the 72nd minute. Carel Rokeloos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Jenaro took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Van Laer. Johannes Van Laer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-13. In the 83rd minute, Albert Fabry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Fred Winnepennincks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Carel Rokeloos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westkust fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-14. Magne Giliusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Mampaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Gonzalo Jenaro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-15 in the 92nd playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Westkust's Albert Fabry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johannes Van Laer. That made the score 1-16 after 98 minutes of play. When the match was over Westkust could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Suikerklontjes throughout the match.
