Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mbaka Mbolu started the match with the kick off. Rein Bautmans was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Olliver Van Bever capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olliver Van Bever really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Olliver Van Bever's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rein Bautmans firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rein Bautmans. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. If Olliver Van Bever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, La Selección was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Ilegems to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, De Beverpatrouille's Olliver Van Bever nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rein Bautmans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 19 minutes into the match, Mbaka Mbolu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of La Selección's Rein Bautmans. Rein Bautmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Selección's Rein Bautmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olliver Van Bever in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, La Selección's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Corderall came free, but Rein Bautmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Selección's Franky Snijers got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Beppe Ciccone struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rein Bautmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Beverpatrouille. After some careless play in the La Selección defense, Olliver Van Bever kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rein Bautmans. The La Selección fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rein Bautmans should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Jonatan Corderall fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rein Bautmans, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mbaka Mbolu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rein Bautmans saved La Selección from getting behind. Mbaka Mbolu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Rein Bautmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Olliver Van Bever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Mbaka Mbolu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Beverpatrouille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

La Selección's Rein Bautmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Corderall in the 51st minute of play. If Olliver Van Bever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rein Bautmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olliver Van Bever went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Olliver Van Bever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rein Bautmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Corderall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Selección's goalkeeper Rein Bautmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Selección's zone, Mbaka Mbolu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rein Bautmans came out of the goal and Mbaka Mbolu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Olliver Van Bever managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Beverpatrouille's supporters rose to their feet, but Olliver Van Bever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rein Bautmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Corderall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Selección's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Franky Snijers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Olliver Van Bever came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the De Beverpatrouille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olliver Van Bever couldn't finish the play. Mbaka Mbolu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Rein Bautmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Beverpatrouille. De Beverpatrouille's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
