Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Purple Talents's attentive Loukas Laboglou managed to snatch the ball when Geert-Jan Tuytgans made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. Loukas Laboglou made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bacardi FC's Geert-Jan Tuytgans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Dekker in the 12th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Dekker took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Dauwen. Leo Dauwen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Sean Dekker. If Roni Coryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Sean Dekker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Dauwen. Bacardi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean Dekker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Dauwen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Dekker, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Sean Dekker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Purple Talents's attentive Loukas Laboglou managed to snatch the ball when Geert-Jan Tuytgans made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. If Sean Dekker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Dekker in the 37th minute of play. Leo Dauwen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Dekker, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roni Coryn got free with Kaan Snow in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Loukas Laboglou got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sean Dekker made a kick off. Sean Dekker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Arnoud Van Gestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Snow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bacardi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yu Cheng Kang was slow to take the kick. During this time Purple Talents's players had a chance to rest. Kaan Snow didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roni Coryn went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Bacardi FC's Thomas Deville was substituted for Karel Christiaens. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Falko Schlender hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Deville. The audience was convinced that Sean Dekker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Dauwen was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Purple Talents eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
