The audience thought a goal was coming when Winarto Songgonau got free with Shota Stopa in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Cruz in the 20th minute of play forced Pezerik's goalkeeper Shota Stopa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierrot Uyttebroeck in the 22nd minute of play. Shota Stopa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Edmílson Santos sent off a good shot on target. Shota Stopa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reiner Fallas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 69th minute Jelle Temmerman suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 69 minutes into the game, Joe Van Landschoot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 76 played minutes Pezerik got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Rutgeerts. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffry Lefevre in the 77th minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierrot Uyttebroeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Waut Van Der Meeren made a huge save. Waut Van Der Meeren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pierrot Uyttebroeck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 89 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Winarto Songgonau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Shota Stopa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pezerik had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
