Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanne Wynaerts in the 4th minute of play. Zero Gravity were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Genk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ritchie Schepmans took the corner. In the 6th minute, Guilian Biermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match, Mehmet Hamdi Yaren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jannes Van Leempoel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jannes Van Leempoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Hamdi Yaren in the 9th minute. Vincent Vanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rain De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Suat Kaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Vanger having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Suat Kaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Vanger was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 36 minutes Zero Gravity's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loui Wouqier who took care of the corner kick. Loui Wouqier made a great header on Genk's corner, it was just that Zero Gravity's Vincent Vanger managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zero Gravity's goalkeeper Vincent Vanger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Zero Gravity's Vincent Vanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Rijniers in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qin Fei Chao in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannes Van Leempoel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rain De Hond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Rain De Hond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rain De Hond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zero Gravity's zone, Rain De Hond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Vanger came out of the goal and Rain De Hond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Suat Kaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genk's Vergil Rupov was substituted for Suat Kaya. Rain De Hond was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vincent Vanger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vergil Rupov in the 76th minute. Vergil Rupov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Vincent Vanger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Vergil Rupov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Hamdi Yaren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vergil Rupov in the 91st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Vincent Vanger kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 93 minutes into the game, Vergil Rupov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vincent Vanger. Vergil Rupov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Zero Gravity fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Genk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
