In the 9thth minute of the game Qwinten Franckx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Aris Kounadakis made a precise shot to the right of Geordy Maerschalcx. Twierdza Osowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Qwinten Franckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaud Schouters charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaud Schouters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaud Schouters kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Peter Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qwinten Franckx in the 18th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Pieter-Maarten Vaes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Pieter-Maarten Vaes fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bredene's protests and gave Pieter-Maarten Vaes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Bredene getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pieter-Maarten Vaes hit a great ball. Peter Bautmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qwinten Franckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Bredene booed when Twierdza Osowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Van Hallebeecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qwinten Franckx scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Qwinten Franckx was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Qwinten Franckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Wouters came free, but Geordy Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Wood to maneuver through the defense. Peter Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qwinten Franckx in the 59th minute of play. FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Franckx in the 62nd minute of play. Bernd Wouters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geordy Maerschalcx having to interfere. Qwinten Franckx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Bautmans came out and tried to block the shot, but Qwinten Franckx slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes FC Bredene got a freekick which was hit by Arnaud Schouters. Geordy Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Wood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Rick Wood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geordy Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geordy Maerschalcx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aris Kounadakis went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Twierdza Osowiec's Peter Bautmans threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Qwinten Franckx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Twierdza Osowiec booed when FC Bredene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Wouters didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Cedric Boede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twierdza Osowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cedric Boede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
