M.O.M.'s Ferdinand Burghelea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as M.O.M.'s Pedrinho Neymar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Bautmans. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Pedrinho Neymar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 24th playminute. Peter Bautmans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Neymar in the 27th minute. Arnaud Schouters's late challenge caught a M.O.M.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaud Schouters helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Bredene getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Arnaud Schouters hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrinho Neymar was the one to do the kick off. Pedrinho Neymar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC Bredene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Bautmans should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Neymar came free, but Peter Bautmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Gökhan Keskin led 89 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 6-0. After 94 played minutes M.O.M. got a freekick which was hit by Adrián Yeste. When Rick Wood came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Bredene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick Wood couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. M.O.M. fully deserved thier win.
