Vakija Amautović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Dida Pontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Runberg came free, but Anibal Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Dida Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Buffalo Bills's Vakija Amautović was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Delmiro Menendo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anibal Niguel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dida Pontes had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vakija Amautović from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Vakija Amautović had several of the NK RIJEKA 1983's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Dida Pontes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Anibal Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Runberg in the 25th minute of the match. Anibal Niguel came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by NK RIJEKA 1983's Eric Runberg. But to his dismay, Eric Runberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The audience was convinced that Eric Runberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Niguel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, NK RIJEKA 1983's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Babarović came free, but Dida Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adil Babarović in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vakija Amautović in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th match minute, NK RIJEKA 1983 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stórólfur Xenopanagos to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match, Filip Poremba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dida Pontes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dida Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senijad Ibričić in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Adil Babarović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
