Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven-Philipp Diekelmann kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Philipp Diekelmann in the 6th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Plamen Pashkulev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in NO NAME's zone, Simon Tiesse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Georg Max came out of the goal and Simon Tiesse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans-Georg Max showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rouven Horsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Simon Tiesse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans-Georg Max having to make a save. 18 minutes in the game, Erik Gerlinger dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Sven Ivanschitz's late challenge caught a Newcastle United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Ivanschitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to NO NAME getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sven Ivanschitz hit a great ball. Hans-Georg Max stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Gerlinger's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Gerlinger in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Georg Max prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Tiesse took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans-Georg Max. Hans-Georg Max dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Marvin Wirths hit a great ball. Newcastle United's Plamen Pashkulev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Robert Füngerlings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Tiesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Georg Max having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's Erik Gerlinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans-Georg Max narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Gerlinger was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Simon Tiesse fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hans-Georg Max having to interfere. Erik Gerlinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Georg Max having to interfere. Michael-Jan von Dreusche charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael-Jan von Dreusche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, NO NAME's Michael-Jan von Dreusche got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes of play, NO NAME's Wolf Kumbruch made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Plamen Pashkulev was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, NO NAME's David Sieger got a free kick in the 70th minute. Erik Gerlinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Sven-Philipp Diekelmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Plamen Pashkulev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play NO NAME's Michael-Jan von Dreusche was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when NO NAME was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael-Jan von Dreusche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Rouven Horsky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rouven Horsky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rouven Horsky managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rouven Horsky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Georg Max breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rouven Horsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
