FC Hollywood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Angst vorm Ball the free kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthias Zahn to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Matthias Zahn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Ticho was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The corner led FC Angst vorm Ball's Marko Köller to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximino Ticho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 82nd minute Sascha Wettinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Schrape saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Sascha Wettinger made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Angst vorm Ball's Jens Schrape tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
