Hernani Cunha came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze de Julho's Diamantino Dikaté. But to his dismay, Diamantino Dikaté quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hélio Fernandes Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Teive, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Rolando Lentilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernani Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Lentilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
