The audience was convinced that Emirares Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Boal was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 10th minute of the match Recreativo FC® got a corner. Wells FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogério De Matos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14thth minute of the game Emirares Bastos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wells FC's Tiago Boal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Emirares Bastos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tiago Boal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emirares Bastos in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Boal saved Wells FC from getting behind. Alda Abelaira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Boal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emirares Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Wells FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Novais to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Emirares Bastos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Wells FC's Tiago Boal. Tiago Boal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Alda Abelaira notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Wells FC's Tiago Boal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emirares Bastos to make the kick off. Tiago Boal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emirares Bastos in the 54th minute. Tiago Boal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emirares Bastos's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Emirares Bastos sped through Wells FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiago Boal. In the 73rd minute Damaso Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marílio Regalado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Boal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emirares Bastos in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emirares Bastos in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Boal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Recreativo FC®'s Emirares Bastos in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emirares Bastos got free with Tiago Boal in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Magno Novais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Boal came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Recreativo FC®'s Rodrigo Onas. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Onas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The audience was convinced that Emirares Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Boal was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Emirares Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tiago Boal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emirares Bastos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-13 to the left of a surprised Tiago Boal 92 minutes into the match. Emirares Bastoss short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Tiago Boal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Recreativo FC®'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
