The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Gitchenko during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 6 minutes into the match, Balaklija's Illja Petrenko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anatoliy Rukavytsya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyubomyr Gluschenko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Lyubomyr Gluschenko struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Maxym Kozhemyachenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for freeUA. freeUA's Svyatoslav Patyak got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balaklija's Maxym Kozhemyachenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Balaklija from getting a goal against them. Maxym Kozhemyachenko came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by freeUA's Eduard Semochko. But to his dismay, Eduard Semochko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduard Semochko in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxym Kozhemyachenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Anatoliy Rukavytsya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demjan Lytvynenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Demjan Lytvynenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artem Kozlyuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Anatoliy Rukavytsya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balaklija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatoliy Rukavytsya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ostap Magas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eduard Semochko came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the freeUA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Semochko couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ostap Magas in the 78th minute of play forced Balaklija's goalkeeper Maxym Kozhemyachenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Lyubomyr Gluschenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. freeUA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lyubomyr Gluschenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Tymur Musienko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. freeUA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balaklija the free kick. After 84 played minutes freeUA got a freekick which was hit by Tymur Musienko. A collision led to Balaklija getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Panas Gitchenko hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ostap Magas in the 89th minute of play forced Balaklija's goalkeeper Maxym Kozhemyachenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Eduard Semochko made a precise shot to the right of Maxym Kozhemyachenko. Balaklija's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
