When Pylyp Shumak came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Slava Ukraini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pylyp Shumak couldn't finish the play. Demjan Protsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmytro Novak having to interfere. Siro Nastasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stepan Tovkatskiy in the 10th minute. In the 16th of the match, Yosif Bakrachev tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Siro Nastasio got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Viktor Mazepa fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kyiv's protests and gave Viktor Mazepa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Kyiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Mazepa to maneuver through the defense. Kyiv's Siro Nastasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yosif Bakrachev in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Slava Ukraini's Eduard Rysan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Matthew Leach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stepan Tovkatskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 34 played minutes Kyiv got a freekick which was hit by Denys Sydorskyi. Stepan Tovkatskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Nastasio having to interfere. Viktor Mazepa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kyiv's Siro Nastasio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kyiv from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Slava Ukraini booed when Kyiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Samoilenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yosif Bakrachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the game, Stepan Tovkatskiy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Siro Nastasio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stepan Tovkatskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Nastasio having to interfere. Slava Ukraini's Rodion Orel was substituted for Stepan Tovkatskiy. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodion Orel to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rodion Orel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Nastasio was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 57thth minute of the game Rodion Orel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyiv's Siro Nastasio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yosif Bakrachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodion Orel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Slava Ukraini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodion Orel couldn't finish the play. Slava Ukraini's Yosif Bakrachev got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rodion Orel came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Slava Ukraini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodion Orel couldn't finish the play. Yosif Bakrachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Nastasio having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Rodion Orel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kyiv getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Denys Sydorskyi hit a great ball. Taras Vonsyk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siro Nastasio. Kyiv's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Denys Sydorskyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yosif Bakrachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Viktor Mazepa from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Dmytro Novak's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodion Orel in the 83rd minute of play forced Kyiv's goalkeeper Siro Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodion Orel hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Siro Nastasio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Slava Ukraini's Eduard Rysan. But to his dismay, Eduard Rysan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Rysan in the 99th minute of play forced Kyiv's goalkeeper Siro Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Slava Ukraini were the better team. Slava Ukraini's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
