Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Petre Zdrenţu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Petre Zdrenţu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dumbravioara AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Mircea Poenaru came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the TSC Valeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Poenaru couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, TSC Valeni's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Zdrenţu came free, but Jacob Zacharas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Mai Yao Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Cobzeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iordache Petrică made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TSC Valeni's Lucian Văcaru. Mai Yao Yi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Mai Yao Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSC Valeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mai Yao Yi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Petre Zdrenţu made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Zacharas. TSC Valeni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With 30 minutes on the clock, Iurie Pricop commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Dumbravioara AS. Iordache Petrică stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacob Zacharas. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Călin Gogea in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Zacharas saved TSC Valeni from getting behind. After 36 minutes of play, Dumbravioara AS's Petre Zdrenţu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Zacharas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacob Zacharas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Zdrenţu in the 41st minute of play. Dumbravioara AS's Călin Gogea got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mai Yao Yi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ştefan Cobzeanu having to make a save. Jacob Zacharas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Zdrenţu in the 46th minute of the match. Jacob Zacharas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Zdrenţu in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mai Yao Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dumbravioara AS's zone, Robert Lucan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Cobzeanu came out of the goal and Robert Lucan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TSC Valeni's Jacob Zacharas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save TSC Valeni from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, TSC Valeni's Valentin Beca got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Dumbravioara AS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jan Stabbe hit a great ball. Robert Lucan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes of play, TSC Valeni's Mai Yao Yi made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ştefan Cobzeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dumbravioara AS made a substitution. Claudiu Ispir replaced Vicente Leiria. After 71 played minutes Dumbravioara AS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lobonț. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Zdrenţu got free with Jacob Zacharas in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Lucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes TSC Valeni got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Vâtcu. After 83 minutes of play, TSC Valeni's Mai Yao Yi made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ştefan Cobzeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mai Yao Yi scored 3-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ştefan Cobzeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TSC Valeni's Jacob Zacharas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Ispir in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes in the game Manole Costescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gabriel Mara. In the 95th minute of the match Manole Costescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Zacharas skillfully saved the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dumbravioara AS's goalkeeper Ştefan Cobzeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Dumbravioara AS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
