When Valério Teles came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Action XXI Giroc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Teles couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Action XXI Giroc's Stanislav Kukenski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Ielciu. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 9th minute, Action XXI Giroc's Iordache Boltașu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Brian Torsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorel Siniştean went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Siniştean in the 20th minute of play forced Action XXI Giroc's goalkeeper Brian Torsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Luna AFC's Luca Istrăteanu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Torsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30thth minute of the game Luca Istrăteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Action XXI Giroc's Brian Torsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Petrică Iliuță came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Luna AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Iliuță couldn't finish the play. Action XXI Giroc were furious when Pompiliu Ştoia was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 34 played minutes Action XXI Giroc got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Ştoia. 35 minutes into the game, Luna AFC's Vasile Păsărin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Torsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Brian Torsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Barbălată, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Luna AFC's corner Vasile Păsărin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brian Torsen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 45th minute Luca Istrăteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Torsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Iliuță in the 46th minute of play forced Action XXI Giroc's goalkeeper Brian Torsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Torsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Barbălată, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Action XXI Giroc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luna AFC were winning 2-3.

Luca Istrăteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Siniştean in the 53rd minute of play forced Action XXI Giroc's goalkeeper Brian Torsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Torsen made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Petrică Iliuță sent off a good shot on target. When Luna AFC's Dorel Siniştean in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Action XXI Giroc's goalie prevented a goal. Denis Ielciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislav Kukenski went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Brian Torsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Barbălată in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Barbă in the 67th minute of play forced Action XXI Giroc's goalkeeper Brian Torsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Torsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Stoleru in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorel Siniştean in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Torsen saved Action XXI Giroc from getting behind. The supporters of Luna AFC booed when Action XXI Giroc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorel Siniştean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brian Torsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Dorel Siniştean slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Luna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Kukenski came free, but Denis Ielciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Barbălată struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Brian Torsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luna AFC. In the 85thth minute of the game Dorel Siniştean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Action XXI Giroc's Brian Torsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petrică Iliuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Brian Torsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Siniştean in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Torsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Action XXI Giroc's Brian Torsen got control of the ball when Luca Istrăteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Petrică Iliuță came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Luna AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Iliuță couldn't finish the play. The Action XXI Giroc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Luna AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
