Florin Calota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Porumbescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicodim Buciuman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maciej Bielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cirlanesti AS's zone, Petrică Feroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Calota came out of the goal and Petrică Feroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Gabriel Covaliu got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petrică Feroiu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cirlanesti AS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Costică Cara hit a great ball. Florin Calota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Cumpanașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Calota came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Edgar Cumpanașu. But to his dismay, Edgar Cumpanașu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Cirlanesti AS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MONDIAL BUCURESTI:s goal. The referee gave MONDIAL BUCURESTI a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mickey Oppenhagen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cirlanesti AS's Florin Calota. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucjan Bielejewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maciej Bielecki. That made the score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Bielejewski in the 40th minute of play forced MONDIAL BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Maciej Bielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mădălin Scaeru came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cirlanesti AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Scaeru couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucjan Bielejewski made a kick off. Costică Cara kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Mickey Oppenhagen got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match, Edgar Cumpanașu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florin Calota saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Costel Porumbescus short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Florin Calota to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Edgar Cumpanașu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Florin Calota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Cumpanașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucjan Bielejewski in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maciej Bielecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 minutes of play, Cirlanesti AS's Mădălin Scaeru made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maciej Bielecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costel Porumbescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florin Calota made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gabriel Covaliu sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th match minute, MONDIAL BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Covaliu to maneuver through the defense. Costel Porumbescu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Edgar Cumpanașu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florin Calota. That made the score 2-4 after 93 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MONDIAL BUCURESTI eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
