Eduard Bărbătescu started the match with the kick off. Ted Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Stoicănescu having to interfere. United 1906's Aron Stoicănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Mihoc in the 20th minute of play. Gabriel Peptan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, fc.rasnov's Ian Riach got control of the ball when Ştefan Goanță tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ian Riach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Goanță in the 31st minute. Ştefan Goanță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Riach having to interfere. The United 1906 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

Ion Marincean hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Traian Mihoc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aron Stoicănescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Traian Mihoc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 56th minute. Ian Riach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Goanță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Ştefan Goanță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Riach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Tănase kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Herrero got free with Aron Stoicănescu in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Traian Mihoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Ted Herrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Stoicănescu. United 1906's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Herrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gelu Pelin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelu Pelin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, United 1906's Gelu Pelin got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ted Herrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Stoicănescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Herrero ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Riach came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by United 1906's Eduard Bărbătescu. But to his dismay, Eduard Bărbătescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 90th match minute, United 1906 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Goanță to maneuver through the defense. Ted Herrero hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. United 1906's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
