Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Tarcuta CSS booed when Puini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Jucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Giubelean was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Gabriel Mavrodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarcuta CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Mavrodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Gabriel Mavrodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarcuta CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Mavrodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Opriș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moise Gherasescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manuel Bordeianu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. A collision led to Tarcuta CSS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nicu Stancu hit a great ball. Tarcuta CSS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Manuel Bordeianu 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Gelu Opriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Mavrodin in the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Tarcuta CSS's goalkeeper Moise Gherasescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Melinte. If Iustin Lalescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Mavrodin to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Gabriel Mavrodin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gelu Opriș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manuel Bordeianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Gherasescu having to interfere. Moise Gherasescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Melinte in the 61st minute of the match. Iustin Lalescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Puini got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Fărcașu. If Gabriel Mavrodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Manuel Bordeianu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tarcuta CSS's Moise Gherasescu. Moise Gherasescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Tarcuta CSS's zone, Alex Melinte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Gherasescu came out of the goal and Alex Melinte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Tarcuta CSS got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Pantiș.
