Emil Olteanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manole Balint. DRK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dorin Mangra kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Manole Balint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Țepeluș in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to DRK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dorin Mangra hit a great ball. Manole Balint made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when David Boieraș sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Boieraș got free with Manole Balint in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Leonard Albu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DRK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE the free kick. Leonard Albu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cornel Baniciu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dacian Țepeluș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Balint having to interfere. Emil Olteanu's late challenge caught a DRK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Olteanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's Emil Olteanu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Răzvan Rădvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Herescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Dacian Țepeluș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Horia Berevoescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Țepeluș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Manole Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandu Trişcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dacian Țepeluș made the kick off in the second half. Cornel Baniciu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. David Herescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sandu Trişcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Rădvan having to interfere. Răzvan Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Herescu in the 60th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, David Herescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Răzvan Rădvan, 1-1. In the 85th minute of the match Horia Berevoescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Rădvan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dacian Țepeluș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Balint having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, DRK's goal looked a bit too open when David Boieraș came free, but Manole Balint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute David Herescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
