Borsanii's Remus Ponta managed to work through FC Nicseni - BTF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Remus Ponta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 18 minutes, Remus Ponta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsanii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Ponta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avram Neculce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Dărmănescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Crușeveanu in the 27th minute of play forced FC Nicseni - BTF's goalkeeper Gheorghe Homescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Ponta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Ponta in the 31st minute of play forced FC Nicseni - BTF's goalkeeper Gheorghe Homescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borsanii's Remus Ponta got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Andrei Crușeveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Ponta in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gheorghe Homescu saved FC Nicseni - BTF from getting behind. Eusebiu Oanță was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. FC Nicseni - BTF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andrei Crușeveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Homescu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avram Neculce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Borsanii got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Crușeveanu. If Andrei Crușeveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Andrei Crușeveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsanii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Crușeveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Crușeveanu got free with Gheorghe Homescu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, FC Nicseni - BTF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Abrudan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Nicseni - BTF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eduard Lupoi hit a great ball. 86 minutes in the game, Remus Ponta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gheorghe Homescu having to interfere. Remus Ponta succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Nae Ticulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gheorghe Homescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Remus Ponta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borsanii's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
