The crowd rose to their feet as Lucian Cerghizan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olimpiu Fundătoreanu. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Sergiu Botgros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Fundătoreanu having to interfere. When Eusebiu Răduța came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Tici taca Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebiu Răduța couldn't finish the play. Eusebiu Răduța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorel Poenaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Ştirbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sergiu Botgros came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SCORPIONII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Botgros couldn't finish the play. Olimpiu Fundătoreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergiu Botgros in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Lucian Cerghizan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Fundătoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorel Poenaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Răduța, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eusebiu Răduța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Sever Tănăsescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dorel Poenaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucian Cerghizan was the one to do the kick off. FC Tici taca Barcelona's Olimpiu Fundătoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Botgros in the 68th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Lucian Cerghizan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Tici taca Barcelona's Olimpiu Fundătoreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sergiu Botgros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Olimpiu Fundătoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sever Tănăsescu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the FC Tici taca Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Tănăsescu couldn't finish the play. Dorel Poenaru made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Eusebiu Răduța sent off a good shot on target. If Ernest Ştirbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SCORPIONII's Dorel Poenaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save SCORPIONII from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
