In the 6thth minute of the game Marcu Nicopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Flalex's Petrică Zbârlea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudiu Dulgherescu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Claudiu Dulgherescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Filip Dragota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Petrică Zbârlea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcu Nicopol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 31st minute, Marcu Nicopol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petrică Zbârlea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Marcu Nicopol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petrică Zbârlea was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, FC Flalex's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Dragota came free, but Petrică Zbârlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcu Nicopol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcu Nicopol was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Barsanesti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emanuel Stratulat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Zbârlea having to interfere. In the 55th minute Marcu Nicopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrică Zbârlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Barsanesti fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Petrică Zbârlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Nicopol in the 61st minute. Marcu Nicopols short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Petrică Zbârlea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emanuel Stratulat struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Petrică Zbârlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barsanesti. Marcu Nicopol came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Petrică Zbârlea could save by the left post. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Flalex's goalkeeper Petrică Zbârlea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcu Nicopol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Zbârlea having to interfere. In the 76th minute, FC Flalex's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcu Nicopol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Nicopol in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petrică Zbârlea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Stratulat struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Petrică Zbârlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barsanesti. Martin Udup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barsanesti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
