Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Octav Martinescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Bratisa defense, Petrică Stere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudiu Chitoran. The Bratisa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudiu Chitoran should have stopped the shot. Pompiliu Macarie kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Iacob Anghelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Claudiu Chitoran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iacob Anghelescu in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudiu Chitoran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Anghelescu got free with Claudiu Chitoran in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Gavril Hrib notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel. Adrian Vătăşel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Constantin Mironescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Iacob Anghelescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudiu Chitoran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 37 minutes into the game, Emil Teofil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bratisa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Secueni the free kick. In the 37th minute, one of Bratisa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bratisa. After having played for 41 minutes, Constantin Mironescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Secueni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Mironescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudiu Chitoran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iacob Anghelescu was the one to do the kick off. Claudiu Chitoran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Mironescu went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Macarie in the 57th minute of play forced Secueni's goalkeeper Adrian Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bratisa's Emil Teofil got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Emil Teofil off the ground. 63 minutes into the game, one of Bratisa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Claudiu Chitoran had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Aurelian Badea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Secueni's Aurelian Badea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudiu Chitoran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 70 minutes of play Bratisa's Pompiliu Macarie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Secueni getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Horaţiu Uncuţă hit a great ball. Adrian Vătăşel was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Gavril Hrib capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gavril Hrib really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Constantin Rogoz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adrian Vătăşel firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 90th minute of play forced Bratisa's goalkeeper Claudiu Chitoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Mironescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Claudiu Chitoran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantin Mironescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudiu Chitoran having to make a save. Secueni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
