Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nistor Cozmâncă started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes, Sinisor CS's Nistor Zbârcea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Costică Daimacă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sinisor CS reached it. In the 10th minute, Sergiu Lițu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Daimacă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Sinisor CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Jităreanu to maneuver through the defense. When Aron Rânceanu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Sinisor CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Rânceanu couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, one of Rapid Constanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sinisor CS a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marin Ghimpu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rapid Constanta's Costică Daimacă. 0-2. Sergiu Lițu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costică Daimacă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergiu Lițu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38thth minute of the game Aron Rânceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapid Constanta's Costică Daimacă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aron Rânceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Rapid Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Rânceanu came free, but Costică Daimacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasile Gligan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Horia Basarabescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aron Epure made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Sergiu Lițu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rapid Constanta's Costel Oblemenco got a free kick in the 55th minute. Marin Ghimpu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Sinisor CS's Sergiu Lițu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costică Daimacă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nistor Cozmâncă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Sinisor CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Gligan to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Sergiu Lițu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Costică Daimacă to make any attempt to save it. Victor Jder kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Niculae Marchidan, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sergiu Lițu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nistor Cozmâncă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Epure read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Horia Basarabescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
