Spectators: 7596 (Terracing: 5698, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Horia Plopeanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Cocosul defense, Vali Andrițoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Ambjörnsson. The Cocosul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Ambjörnsson should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vali Andrițoiu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Ambjörnsson saved Cocosul from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's Vali Andrițoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Ambjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sven Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Constantinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alexandru Lucrețiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Plopeanu in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emilian Dascălu hit a great ball. The supporters of Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca booed when Cocosul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Beșleaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cocosul getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Horia Plopeanu hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Cocosul's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Constantinescu came free, but Sven Ambjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Vali Andrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's zone, Isac Strugure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandru Lucrețiu came out of the goal and Isac Strugure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Ambjörnsson came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's Iacob Constantinescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Constantinescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Isac Strugure's late challenge caught a Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Strugure helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cocosul getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Isac Strugure hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Andrițoiu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's Cristian Hidișan got a free kick in the 54th minute. Horia Plopeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Lucrețiu having to interfere. Aron Stelaru took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandru Lucrețiu. Alexandru Lucrețiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Alexandru Lucrețiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Plopeanu in the 60th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Eugen Dănălache took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sven Ambjörnsson to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's Sebastian Lupșe got a free kick in the 70th minute. Manole Marghescu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alexandru Lucrețiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocosul. In the 74th minute of the match Manole Marghescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandru Lucrețiu skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's Sven Ambjörnsson threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eugen Dănălache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Vali Andrițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Vali Andrițoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca and the Cocosul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cocosul's goalkeeper Sven Ambjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cocosul's Sven Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Andrițoiu in the 91st minute of play. Iacob Constantinescu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sven Ambjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca. Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
