Spectators: 7456 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) Olesti's Octav Gherguț started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionuț Apostu was a little too slow when Octav Gherguț got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Langenfeld CSS's Costică Trandafir suffered a concussion in the 13th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 13th match minute, Olesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Ciuhandu to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Codruț Argăseală shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Stănculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Ionuț Apostu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Codruț Argăseală recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, Adam Calciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olesti and the Langenfeld CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olesti getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Adam Calciu hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, Langenfeld CSS's Cornel Tutuianu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petruț Stănculescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Langenfeld CSS reached it. After 30 minutes of play Olesti's Traian Ciuhandu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 31st minute, Traian Ciuhandu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Iustin Diaconescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionuț Apostu made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Iustin Diaconescu sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Diaconescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Iustin Diaconescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Diaconescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Apostu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Drâmba to strike the kick off in the second half. Iustin Diaconescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ionuț Apostu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Diaconescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cătălin Dindelegan sped through Langenfeld CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ionuț Apostu. Octav Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Diaconescu struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ionuț Apostu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olesti. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Iustin Diaconescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Diaconescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Diaconescu in the 73rd minute of the match. Iustin Diaconescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionuț Apostu having to make a save. Cătălin Dindelegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Diaconescu in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionuț Apostu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Langenfeld CSS's Emanuel Drâmba got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cătălin Dindelegan's late challenge caught a Langenfeld CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cătălin Dindelegan helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Olesti got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Dindelegan. After 89 minutes of play, Olesti's Iustin Diaconescu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionuț Apostu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iustin Diaconescu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ionuț Apostu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olesti. After 97 played minutes Langenfeld CSS got a freekick which was hit by Traian Otopeanu. Olesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
