Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ovidiu Bondrea got the match started through his kick off. Dorel Lupșoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Bondrea in the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ovidiu Petrean managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC UNIREA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Petrean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Harnagea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes FC UNIREA got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Petrean. In the 12th minute, Aron Dănilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC UNIREA's Paul Bernea got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ferdinand Toacsen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pavel Harnagea. Dorel Lupșoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Bondrea in the 20th minute of play. Pavel Harnagea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Bernea's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Dorel Lupșoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Bondrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gică Bâru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gică Ştirbu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes in the game Ferdinand Toacsen after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Pavel Harnagea. A very good opportunity. Paul Bernea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Pavel Harnagea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Petrean lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Pavel Harnagea. Pavel Harnagea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Toacsen in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, one of F.C.Dacii:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Pavel Harnagea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Petrean's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Gică Bâru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.Dacii's Pavel Harnagea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 minutes of play, FC UNIREA's Paul Bernea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavel Harnagea was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Olimpiu Bârsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Toacsen took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavel Harnagea. Pavel Harnagea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 71st minute, Paul Bernea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavel Harnagea was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 76th minute Ferdinand Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Harnagea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gică Bâru in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Harnagea saved F.C.Dacii from getting behind. Pavel Harnagea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Bâru in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, F.C.Dacii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Dănilă to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Răzvan Zgîrţa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Bârsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Toacsen in the 89th minute of play forced F.C.Dacii's goalkeeper Pavel Harnagea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Bârsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dorel Lupșoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Paul Bernea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Pavel Harnagea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC UNIREA fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C.Dacii had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
