In the 20th minute Basarab Odobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Fetanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Gherdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Moromete, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee gave FC Sector 3 a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dacian Moromete, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Xander's Horaţiu Gherdan. 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, FC Sector 3's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Odobescu came free, but Silviu Fetanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Dacian Moromete fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Horaţiu Gherdan, passed just outside the right post. Dumitru Feraru's late challenge caught a FC Sector 3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Feraru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, FC Xander was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Vasilescu to maneuver through the defense. With 61 minutes on the clock, Andrei Arvinte commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of FC Xander booed when FC Sector 3 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Arvinte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Basarab Odobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Fetanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Sector 3's Silviu Fetanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC Sector 3 from getting a goal against them. Dacian Moromete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horaţiu Gherdan having to make a save. Horaţiu Gherdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Moromete in the 82nd minute of the match. If Nistor Tâlvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silviu Fetanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Mineață in the 89th minute of play. Nistor Tâlvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Horaţiu Gherdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Filip Grama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Sector 3's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
