YR☆ Village Superstars:s Aurelian Mergea showed great skill when he stopped Marius Spineanu:s penalty. In the 19th minute, Marius Spineanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Mergea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vasile Ogică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Mergea having to interfere. Mihail Ispir might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Mironescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Ispir ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Ispir in the 26th minute of play forced The Squad's goalkeeper Iacob Mironescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Iacob Mironescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mihail Ispir in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mihail Ispir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Mironescu having to interfere. Narcis Neagoe struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Iacob Mironescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YR☆ Village Superstars. In the 33rd minute Eric Costin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Mergea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, The Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Ogică to maneuver through the defense. Costică Tătaru hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Mihail Ispir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iacob Mironescu having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, YR☆ Village Superstars's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Dulfu came free, but Aurelian Mergea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mihail Ispir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 51st minute, Radu Mendrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edwardo Piñeros came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the YR☆ Village Superstars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwardo Piñeros couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Filip Hâldan made a precise shot to the right of Iacob Mironescu. The Squad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eric Costin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelian Mergea having to make a save. Mihail Ispir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Iacob Mironescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Squad's zone, Mihail Ispir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Mironescu came out of the goal and Mihail Ispir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Vintilă Tender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes, The Squad's Marius Spineanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelian Mergea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Squad reached it. 86 minutes into the match, YR☆ Village Superstars's Mihail Ispir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Mironescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Mihail Ispir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Ispir in the 91st minute of play forced The Squad's goalkeeper Iacob Mironescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Adam Poplăcan took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aurelian Mergea to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle went the supporters of The Squad were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant YR☆ Village Superstars side.
