Spectators: 7560 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduard Racoviță started the match with the kick off. Calistrat Mereacre came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club13's Cornel Neculce. But to his dismay, Cornel Neculce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Per-Åke Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Iulian Pociu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 12 in the game by Eduard Racoviță from a close distance when the talented Iulian Pociu managed to make a qualified save. Club13's players were relieved. Per-Åke Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Iulian Pociu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Gâfu in the 16th minute of play forced RETRO FC's goalkeeper Calistrat Mereacre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club13's goalkeeper Iulian Pociu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Per-Åke Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Lindberg in the 26th minute of play forced Club13's goalkeeper Iulian Pociu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eduard Racoviță came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the RETRO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Racoviță couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in RETRO FC's zone, Constantin Brumaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Mereacre came out of the goal and Constantin Brumaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Elefteriu's late challenge caught a RETRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Elefteriu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club13's Paul Elefteriu got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Eduard Racoviță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silviu Păuceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Păuceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Silviu Păuceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Per-Åke Lindberg from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Iulian Pociu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Călin Pascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Racoviță in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iulian Pociu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Assis Doro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Paul Elefteriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantin Brumaru made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Eduard Racoviță put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iulian Pociu. 60 minutes into the game, one of RETRO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Club13's Constantin Brumaru in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RETRO FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Club13 booed when RETRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Pascu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Călin Pascu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Călin Pascu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 70 minutes, Dragoş Gâfu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club13 and the RETRO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Manuel Buga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Per-Åke Lindberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RETRO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 80 minutes into the match, Assis Doro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iulian Pociu. Club13's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Assis Doro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Per-Åke Lindberg scored 5-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iulian Pociu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. RETRO FC's Per-Åke Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Eduard Racoviță managed to get in a good position for a shot. RETRO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Racoviță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iulian Pociu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RETRO FC had played much better football throughout.
