Titans Hill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Dobrițoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gigel Fărcășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriu Vătafu having to interfere. In the 13th minute Costin Dobrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Vătafu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Traian Ciuvică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes, Gigel Fărcășan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tulei Club and the Titans Hill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gigel Fărcășan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Cristi Neagu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Homescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Fărcășan in the 27th minute of play forced Titans Hill FC's goalkeeper Valeriu Vătafu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Dobrițoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Gigel Fărcășan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Vătafu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornel Nedelcea hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Nicolae Homescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristi Neagu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Valeriu Vătafu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Harbuz in the 42nd minute of the match. Valeriu Vătafu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Dobrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valeriu Vătafu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Fărcășan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Mădălin Buculeasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Vătafu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Caranfil notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tulei Club's Cristi Neagu. Cristi Neagu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gigel Fărcășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Titans Hill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Stolniceanu came free, but Valeriu Vătafu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Fărcășan came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valeriu Vătafu could save by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Tulei Club's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Ciuvică came free, but Cristi Neagu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Titans Hill FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cornel Nedelcea hit a great ball. Valeriu Vătafu made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gigel Fărcășan sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Nicolae Homescu made a precise shot to the right of Cristi Neagu. Tulei Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Gigel Fărcășan might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valeriu Vătafu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Fărcășan ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Titans Hill FC's goalkeeper Valeriu Vătafu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Fărcășan. Cristi Neagu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Caranfil, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Tulei Club's Ionică Harbuz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ionică Harbuz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tulei Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ionică Harbuz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Tulei Club getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ionică Harbuz hit a great ball. Traian Ciuvică was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
