Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasile Vătăşel kicked off to start the match. Liviu Hănescu scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horaţiu Manolache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandru Stroe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, BANAT VIOLA's goalkeeper Emilio Miconi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Vieru. Marcel Vieru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Visina's Dacian Croitoru got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute Rareș Ciutacu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Manolache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Ciutacu in the 23rd minute of play forced Visina's goalkeeper Horaţiu Manolache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Stroe kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Iustinian Negulici's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horaţiu Manolache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Tiberiu Micescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emilio Miconi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rareș Ciutacu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Horaţiu Manolache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Hănescu in the 33rd minute of the match. Petruț Dulgherescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petruț Dulgherescu's late challenge caught a BANAT VIOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petruț Dulgherescu helped the player get up and apologised. Petruț Dulgherescu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Alexandru Stroe kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Iustinian Negulici took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horaţiu Manolache. Visina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vasile Vătăşel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Emilio Miconi made a huge save. Remus Vasiliu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rareș Ciutacu to make the kick off. Rareș Ciutacu took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Manolache. Horaţiu Manolache dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Visina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Rareș Ciutacu scored to the left of an out of position Horaţiu Manolache, making the score, 0-4. 66 minutes into the match, BANAT VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Vieru came free, but Emilio Miconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Manolache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Hănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Visina's Marcel Vieru got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petruț Dulgherescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Emilio Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BANAT VIOLA's Emanuel Dășanu got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Vătăşel in the 80th minute of play forced BANAT VIOLA's goalkeeper Emilio Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Visina's Marcel Vieru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Miconi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcel Vieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Miconi having to interfere. The BANAT VIOLA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BANAT VIOLA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
