Anton Stamatiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Vidican in the 10th minute of play. Ivan Negoescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucrețiu Stere. Marcu Șerbulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucrețiu Stere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcu Șerbulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucrețiu Stere made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Marcu Șerbulescu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Wolves Academy's Alexandru Timaru got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 43 played minutes Wolves Academy got a freekick which was hit by Felix Vidican. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
