Spectators: 7828 (Terracing: 5872, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cătălin Hurmuz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Campina's zone, Vasile Baniciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Argina came out of the goal and Vasile Baniciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Campina's Evaristo Argina got control of the ball when Cătălin Hurmuz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Argina was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Mădălin Suciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mădălin Suciu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mădălin Suciu might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Argina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mădălin Suciu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ştefan Uncu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. José Carlos Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Cândroveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cătălin Hurmuz got free with Evaristo Argina in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasile Baniciu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. C.s.s. Zalau's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 28th minute, C.s.s. Zalau's Mădălin Suciu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evaristo Argina. Evaristo Argina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cătălin Hurmuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Argina having to interfere. After 34th play minutes Vasile Baniciu shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Evaristo Argina and just under the crossbar into goal. When Campina's Ionuț Cândroveanu in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.s.s. Zalau's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute of the match Campina got a corner. C.s.s. Zalau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionuț Cândroveanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Carlos Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Bidulescu in the 39th minute of the match. With 41 minutes on the clock, Pompiliu Nițescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Evaristo Argina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cătălin Hurmuz in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionuț Cândroveanu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, C.s.s. Zalau's Vasile Baniciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Argina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Evaristo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Hurmuz in the 55th minute of play. Evaristo Argina came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by C.s.s. Zalau's Adrian Luca. But to his dismay, Adrian Luca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Evaristo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Suciu in the 62nd minute of play. Evaristo Argina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Suciu in the 64th minute of the match. Cătălin Hurmuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Baniciu in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Hurmuz in the 76th minute of play forced Campina's goalkeeper Evaristo Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Vasile Baniciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes, Ionuț Cândroveanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campina and the C.s.s. Zalau players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Campina's Ionuț Cândroveanu got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Campina's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Baniciu came free, but Evaristo Argina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Hurmuz in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Cătălin Hurmuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
