Mihail Cînu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Avintu AC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Marinică came free, but Petruț Pipirig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31st play minutes Gavril Beca shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Cătălin Tadici and just under the crossbar into goal. Emanuel Chihaia kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Constantin Stroie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Beca got free with Cătălin Tadici in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avintu AC's Șerban Malcoci shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cătălin Tadici but with some difficulty. Cătălin Tadici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Stroie in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gavril Beca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avintu AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Beca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Tadici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Constantin Stroie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Tadici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match, Ştefan Zăgănescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cătălin Tadici saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SIERRA CF's Cătălin Tadici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save SIERRA CF from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Marinică was the one to do the kick off. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Avintu AC's goalie and right to Cristian Balaci. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Avintu AC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Emanuel Chihaia came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SIERRA CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Chihaia couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Constantin Stroie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Tadici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Avintu AC's Cristi Baba made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Tadici was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Gavril Beca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Tadici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Tadici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Stroie, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cătălin Tadici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Stroie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Stroie in the 78th minute of play forced SIERRA CF's goalkeeper Cătălin Tadici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SIERRA CF's Cătălin Tadici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Beca in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Constantin Stroie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Tadici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Constantin Stroie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Beca in the 90th minute of play forced SIERRA CF's goalkeeper Cătălin Tadici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Chihaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Petruț Pipirig made a huge save. Gavril Beca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Tadici having to interfere.
