Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Narcis Ştirbu made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Moise Păvăloae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sergiu Mihăilă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 8 minutes, Silviu Zamfir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Zamfir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND booed when Biohazard Galati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Ştirbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergiu Mihăilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Orădan in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND's Moise Păvăloae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergiu Mihăilă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Biohazard Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Păvăloae came free, but Sergiu Mihăilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Moise Păvăloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Mihăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Narcis Ştirbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Buceceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sergiu Mihăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND's Moise Coporan got control of the ball when Narcis Ştirbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes, Cristi Orădan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND and the Biohazard Galati players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristi Orădan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Virgil Arieșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Coporan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Zamfir in the 35th minute of play forced Biohazard Galati's goalkeeper Sergiu Mihăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biohazard Galati's Sergiu Mihăilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Păvăloae in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Biohazard Galati's zone, Cristi Orădan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Mihăilă came out of the goal and Cristi Orădan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Augustin Mazăre fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND's protests and gave Augustin Mazăre a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Biohazard Galati booed when BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Mazăre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Biohazard Galati's Dumitru Săvescu was substituted for Narcis Ştirbu. Sergiu Mihăilă came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND's Moise Păvăloae. But to his dismay, Moise Păvăloae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Biohazard Galati's Aurelian Tincu was substituted for Anton Nistorescu. Sergiu Mihăilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Păvăloae in the 63rd minute of play. Moise Păvăloae struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sergiu Mihăilă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND. After 67 minutes of play BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND's Augustin Mazăre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 68 played minutes BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Mazăre. If Virgil Arieșan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silviu Zamfir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moise Coporan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Bobeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Zamfir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Mihăilă having to make a save. Moise Coporan came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Biohazard Galati's Dumitru Săvescu. But to his dismay, Dumitru Săvescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 90th match minute, Biohazard Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Săvescu to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Zamfir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded BORUSSIA BVB DORTMUND left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Biohazard Galati.
