In the 89th match minute, Dragheasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Manciu to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Dragheasa's goalkeeper Gică Iulian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriu Jecu. In the 92nd minute, Valeriu Jecu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dragheasa's Gică Iulian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Dragheasa from getting a goal against them. If Sever Neculuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Birsanu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dragheasa throughout the match.
