Thanks to some nice moves Flavius Nisipeanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Mădălin Hațegan however easily saved by the left post. In the 14th minute, Karol Czempa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. S -77's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Karol Czempa scored to the left of an out of position Mădălin Hațegan, making the score, 2-0. After some careless play in the S -77 defense, Chorache Tofiño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Hațegan. The S -77 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Hațegan should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Progresul Pitesti's Chorache Tofiño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mădălin Hațegan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Corneliu Ţugui hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Mugur Alexandru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karol Czempa might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mădălin Hațegan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karol Czempa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Flavius Nisipeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Neața in the 39th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Lucian Militaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When S -77's Remus Neața in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Boyde Palmington got a free kick in the 45th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavius Nisipeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Ilinca got free with Lucian Militaru in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Progresul Pitesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while S -77 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
