After having played for 25 minutes, Ionel Gafița managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionel Gafița was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Aristide Vâtcă got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosmin Astafei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Anghel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Den Beaver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandu Amitroaiei in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosmin Astafei saved Brisca Sarasau -MM- from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Tinu in the 41st minute of play forced Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s goalkeeper Cosmin Astafei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosmin Astafei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Den Beaver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miercani were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iosif Pacuraru took the corner. After taking down the ball on Miercani's corner Marian Tinu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cosmin Astafei quite easily take care of the ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iosif Pacuraru was slow to take the kick. During this time Miercani's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Miercani's Răzvan Anghel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After the first half Miercani were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristide Vâtcă made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Vâtcă in the 54th minute of play forced Miercani's goalkeeper Grigore Constantin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Aristide Vâtcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Den Beaver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosmin Astafei was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Răzvan Anghel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miercani's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Anghel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some careless play in the Brisca Sarasau -MM- defense, Sandu Amitroaiei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosmin Astafei. The Brisca Sarasau -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosmin Astafei should have stopped the shot. After 92 minutes, Ionel Gafița mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brisca Sarasau -MM- and the Miercani players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Brisca Sarasau -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Gafița to maneuver through the defense. Sandu Amitroaiei's late challenge caught a Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Amitroaiei helped the player get up and apologised. Sandu Amitroaiei kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
