Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) Ionel Dănciulescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ionel Dănciulescu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Francisc Chirilă. In the 8th match minute, Tatarus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Dăianu to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Chirilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Mirciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The F.C Alex Bucuresti fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when F.C Alex Bucuresti's Ionel Dănciulescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute, Ionuț Cârjă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisc Chirilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 33 minutes into the match, Ionel Dănciulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisc Chirilă. Tatarus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionel Dănciulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 38th minute, Ionuț Cârjă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44th play minutes Ionel Dănciulescu shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Francisc Chirilă and just under the crossbar into goal. If Ionuț Cârjă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

Francisc Chirilă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Cârjă's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. A hard shot 55 in the game by Ionel Dănciulescu from a close distance when the talented Francisc Chirilă managed to make a qualified save. Tatarus's players were relieved. Francisc Chirilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Mirciu in the 59th minute of play. F.C Alex Bucuresti were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Tatarus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Costel Mirciu took the corner. The corner led F.C Alex Bucuresti's Ionel Dănciulescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisc Chirilă despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. F.C Alex Bucuresti's Ionuț Cârjă got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Ionel Dănciulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisc Chirilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Ciuvică got free with Francisc Chirilă in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of F.C Alex Bucuresti booed when Tatarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Ghițulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Chirilă was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Ionel Dănciulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ionel Dănciulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. In the 79th minute, Ionel Dănciulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, F.C Alex Bucuresti's Costel Mirciu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisc Chirilă. Francisc Chirilă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Francisc Chirilă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Dănciulescu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute Ionuț Cârjă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Chirilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, one of Tatarus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tatarus. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Dănciulescu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisc Chirilă saved Tatarus from getting behind. F.C Alex Bucuresti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
