Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Dobrițoiu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, FC Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Cozma to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pipera FCM getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Vali Burdea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Tatulici in the 7th minute of play forced Pipera FCM's goalkeeper Nicu Ispirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Lions United booed when Pipera FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Nițoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Urdea kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Pipera FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Hoisie came free, but Nicu Ispirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Manole Iordache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicu Ispirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicu Ispirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Dima in the 17th minute of the match. Isac Posteucă made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Iosif Deliman sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes FC Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Păvăloae. After 23 minutes of play, FC Lions United's Șerban Păvăloae made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Ispirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicu Ispirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Tatulici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Octavio Sans fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lions United's protests and gave Octavio Sans a yellow card for diving instead. Octavio Sans hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lions United's zone, Victor Dobrițoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Posteucă came out of the goal and Victor Dobrițoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Pipera FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Păvăloae came free, but Nicu Ispirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Homeag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicu Ispirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Stoian, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nicu Ispirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Dima in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Dobrițoiu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pipera FCM's Victor Dobrițoiu got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Damian Dima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nicu Ispirescu made a huge save. In the 58th play minute Damian Dima came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicu Ispirescu. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Dima got free with Nicu Ispirescu in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Manole Iordache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicu Ispirescu. That made the score 0-6 in the 90 minute of play. After some careless play in the Pipera FCM defense, Damian Dima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicu Ispirescu. The Pipera FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicu Ispirescu should have stopped the shot.
