Panait Marghescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Lăzan came free, but Codrin Beraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Barbăsură received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ilie Dridu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dezesti CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Codrin Beraru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Dordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Lăzan in the 75th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Panait Marghescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dezesti CF's Ilie Dridu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Panait Marghescu sped through Dezesti CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilie Dridu. Panait Marghescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilie Dridu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ilie Dridu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Marghescu in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Marghescu in the 90th minute of play forced Dezesti CF's goalkeeper Ilie Dridu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Beraru was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cornel Oroveanu. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paralia Athens had won after a very even match.
