Bogdan Ghimpu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Bădila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Kociniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Costin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes, Bartolo Alarcon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universitatea cluj and the Adevarul Pur players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Chiliman in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Kociniewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute of the match, Iustin Niță got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Ghimpu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
