Ovidiu Banciu's late challenge caught a Paralia Athens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Banciu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Lions United's Ovidiu Banciu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Panait Marghescu succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The supporters of FC Lions United booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Filimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Manole Iordache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Beraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Panait Marghescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panait Marghescu took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doru Barboni. Doru Barboni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Panait Marghescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doru Barboni. Panait Marghescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 31st minute, Panait Marghescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Barboni was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 34th minute, Martin Arseni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panait Marghescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doru Barboni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panait Marghescu ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Lions United's Doru Barboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Marghescu in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Paralia Athens's Panait Marghescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. In the 44th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Arseni to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Iordache was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Panait Marghescu made a precise shot to the right of Doru Barboni. FC Lions United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Panait Marghescu scored 8-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doru Barboni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Panait Marghescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Panait Marghescu sped through FC Lions United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doru Barboni. After a rather tough play, FC Lions United's Ovidiu Banciu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Panait Marghescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doru Barboni having to make a save. Panait Marghescu scored 10-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doru Barboni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidiu Banciu made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damian Dima. Codrin Beraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Dima in the 76th minute of the match. Panait Marghescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Paralia Athens's Panait Marghescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doru Barboni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 88th minute, Panait Marghescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Barboni was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Dima in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Beraru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Paralia Athens fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lions United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
