Ionică Bălanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Rusu in the 7th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Augustin Rusu sped through Lupii Turbati's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ionică Bălanescu. 13 minutes into the match, Club Infinity Bacau's Ionuț Panțuru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionică Bălanescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ionică Bălanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Panțuru, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Ionuț Panțuru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Infinity Bacau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Panțuru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Traian Melinte hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Augustin Rusu scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionică Bălanescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Ionuț Panțuru made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Bălanescu. Lupii Turbati's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lupii Turbati's Ionică Bălanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Rusu in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Lupii Turbati's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Rusu came free, but Ionică Bălanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lupii Turbati's Francisco Netto got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Francisco Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Infinity Bacau's Petrică Coman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Infinity Bacau's Teodor Tudor got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Club Infinity Bacau fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Club Infinity Bacau's Ionuț Panțuru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Netto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Lupii Turbati got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Netto. After 54 played minutes Club Infinity Bacau got a freekick which was hit by Traian Melinte. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Infinity Bacau's Augustin Rusu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ionică Bălanescu. That made the score 0-5 after 56 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes Club Infinity Bacau got a freekick which was hit by David Curăreanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Panțuru in the 67th minute of play forced Lupii Turbati's goalkeeper Ionică Bălanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Dinu Angheluță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Augustin Rusu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anton Bolborici kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Traian Melinte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionică Bălanescu. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 80th minute, Francisco Netto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupii Turbati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Club Infinity Bacau's Alaa Ciobica was substituted for Ionuț Panțuru. Alaa Ciobica had several of the Lupii Turbati's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-10 score and a disappointed Ionică Bălanescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Club Infinity Bacau played a much better game than Lupii Turbati and deserved their victory. The Lupii Turbati players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
