After some careless play in the FC Luncani defense, Virgil Ghețea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Brădean. The FC Luncani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Brădean should have stopped the shot. Eduard Brădean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Ghețea's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Eduard Brădean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Cutieru in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Cutieru in the 16th minute of play forced FC Luncani's goalkeeper Eduard Brădean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Anton Gagiu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 20th minute Maxim Cosoroabă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Brădean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Denis Cutieru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Luncani's Eduard Brădean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, FC Luncani's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Cosoroabă came free, but Eduard Brădean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Brădean made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Calistrat Gârleanu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Luncani getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gelu Albeanu hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Denis Cutieru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduard Brădean. The goal made the score 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Mugurel Ţăranu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Denis Cutieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Brădean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Brădean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Cutieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ajax Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafal Smuskiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Ajax Academy's Ciprian Brezoi got a free kick in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgil Ghețea during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgil Ghețea kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Costică Mușetescu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Many of FC Luncani's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Luncani may have spent more time on the ball, but Ajax Academy were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
